Asian cuisine is an edible art form. Participants will learn about traditional and modern Japanese cuisines, how a variety of Asian foods are prepared, what some of the special ingredients used in these dishes look like and the proper culinary equipment to use in their preparation. Chefs will learn to make different types of sushi, decorated Kyaraben bento lunch boxes, dumplings, and other Asian dishes. Allergy alert – eggs, nuts, pork and seaweed may be used in some of the recipes.>
